Last Sunday made it two years that Taylor and me have been together. Saturday and Sunday all day we were saying "soooooo two years ago we were..." things like emailing each other, eating at subway, and talking kept coming up. It was funny to hear the things he remembered ( he even remembered what I was wearing when we saw each other the week before we got together!)

Here is a funny picture too. A week or two ago we had REALLY hot weather, I felt real bad for my girls so I brought them out some ice for their water and to just snack on, they loved it!

Last Sunday I got my first egg! And everyday since then she has given me an egg. It surprises me how one hen can lay different shades of eggs! Here are my first two eggs!

Waaaay too many ideas have been going through my head lately, so I try to remember them and make them or write them down real quick before I forget! Here are some of the results of my spare time lately...

This is called "The Lilly Apron" everyone should have at least one. I really feel bad for my projects..my photography skills SUCK! I made this one for myself so I could fit in with my chickens while feeding them or tiding up the coop.

If you close one eye and squint the open one, you can see the really cute chicken feet stitch design across the top.

Your thinking "she just said her photography skills are bad" Guess what I didn't even take this picture, I stole it off the Internet, but isn't it adorable??

Along with bad photography skills I also suffer from "not being able to remember to take a picture" I made two of these tops for the prettiest little girls, but after this picture I added lace on one and buttons on the other...Do you think I remembered to take a picture?? Maybe I can convince the girls to be models for a few minutes...

This is one of my first attempts to make an apron pin, I have made a few other designs but I could only find this one when it came time to snap-a-shot. I made some feed sack aprons and had just enough pieces left to make this! I'm thinking maybe it needs some more pizazz...any ideas??

Like I said in my post below I have been obsessed with feed sack projects, well I got more to do more crafts, but i wanted to fix a small mistake. How should I wash the pieces? It seems like the color fades a little bit after washing, and I was wondering if any of you know how to do it "correctly" Thank you for the help. Here is last nights project!

Feed Sacks have been a huge part in my projects lately, from bags to apron to signs, I cant get away from them!

Fathers Day is coming up, take my idea, Daddy's will love it. I used some scrap material off a feed sack, It was kinda difficult to work with (stitching wise) but it turned out more cute than in the picture!

Memorial Day weekend (for the past 2 years) friends of mine all get together and dress up, eat lots of food, and do fun things. This year the "party" moved 5 hours away so we all packed up our most fattening foods, weirdest clothes, and other necessities. Here are some pictures

At our school sports are a big deal. Basketball and football being the biggest deal. This year our girl's basketball team made it to the state games, and on the first day lost. Yesterday (the second day of the games) the girls had the chance to continue and make fourth place. The game they were going to be playing was during the school day so naturally about half the students were gone and just about every classroom was playing the game on the radio.

When i walked into my fourth period class and noticed the radio wasn't playing I pulled it up on the computer so we could listen (we had a sub and she had no clue that the game was going on) About 20 minutes into the game we heard the announcer congratulating Miss Pinch, a girl who graduated last year, and about 15 minutes later giving kudos to Miss Mac, another girl who graduated last year. Well we all started making fun of the announcer...

5 or so minutes later I realized the announcer was talking about girls from Marist (we were definitely not playing Marist)

Finally i put it all together and realized I had pulled up the game from last year, I had missed a over a HALF HOUR OF THE GAME!!!!!

I found the right game and we heard the final buzzer, we had won the game! So today our girls in the final round to win (cross your fingers) fourth place

Hope and Homework

This morning I got bit by the cleaning bug! After awhile I convinced myself to tackle my make-up desk and clean up everything! Inside a cute little metal cup that holds makeup brushes I found at the bottom a cute little charm/medallion thing.

On the Front it says "Hope" and on the back says "For Tomorrow"

I Don't remember where I got it, or who its from, but it put a big smile on my face. It is just one of those words that can make anything better or at least almost make something better. Thank you to who ever gave it to me =D

A little bit later today I remembered I had a homework project due tomorrow, So I rounded up some fabric, and sat down at my sewing machine...and here ya go an "A plus" homework assignment!

The assignment was to create a 3D model of a fairy tale we studied, so I did my best! Each pig has the material which he built his house out of. The pig with the bag of bricks obviously turns out the happiest!

Dog Heaven

When Dogs go to heaven, they don't need wings because God knows that dogs love running best.

My mama got a really cute book today called Dog Heaven. It is so perfect.

Also today my Dad came home with a huge surprise...A new Dog. He is almost 11 weeks old. He has adopted the name of Smokey, Smoke for short. I will have more pictures up soon, boy o boy he is super cute.

Although Duke didn't like other Dogs at all =D we all feel comforted that he likes the new dog. It is a real good feeling.

My Best Friend

Sorry for the bad picture quality... This is my best friend...Duke. He has been part of the family for just about 7 years. He is the nicest, cutest pup. And has a huge personality, and his a big attitude. A week ago he hurt himself and didn't get better, and yesterday hurt himself more. This morning he was put down and is now not in pain. I'm in school now ( shame on me for blogging ) but he is worth the attention. But it is going to be weird going home today and not have him be at the door jumping around and waiting to be fed. Nest Monday would be his 7th birthday, but this birthday he will have alot more fun chasing a million mail men, garbage trucks, and now he is off his diet =D

Yesterday morning Taylor and I exchanged valentines, and spent the morning together. He looked really cute coming up to the door carrying a cute jar filled with goodies! The jar had chocolates, cute socks, tissues, a movie gift card, and the cutest red heart rock. Thank you Taylor ( & Pam)

For Taylor I made a video of "us" and took one of his drawings and embroidered then framed it.

Today is exactly a year and half that Taylor and I have been together. To start out the day I got him his favorite food ( biscuits and gravy ) from the local doughnut shop, and wrote on the inside of the to-go box "Happy 18 months" with a bunch of hearts! He was really happy..but didn't start eating right away...a few minutes after he said "Brandie, I'm really happy you did this, but.......My mom just made the biggest breakfast and I ate so much of it!" So I helped him eat it =D

All through out the day we were telling each other what we thought we were doing a year and a half ago. It is funny to think of how we barely knew each other, but weren't shy at all.

Everyday there is something more I learn about Taylor, and I love every bit of it.

Lately I cant think of my own ideas or even what to make. So I haven't been crafting very much, but last Friday I got outta school early and Pam, Stacy, Pink Grandma, Diane, and Danielle made our way out to a quilt show, where i found some things i just have to make! Just like last year everything was to die for and made me wanna go home and pull out my sewing machine, glitter, and paint!

So today after school I decided I want to be a copy cat, and made a really cute pin cushion, just like one I saw on Friday.

Here is where I packed the PB in, just kidding, I needed something to hold down the cushion while it was being pinned down. Pun intended!

Here is the final product. Super cute, and I love cup cakes! I haven't yet decided whether or not to sell it, gift it, or keep it for myself. Either way it definitely added some sweetness to the gloomy weather we have been having.

Finals are Finally done

This last week we had semester finals... Its actually kinda fun, each class is 80 minutes long. Even though no test takes over 50 minutes so we get to spend most of the time talking or playing games...and even on cell phones/i pods...don't tell the principal =D Another fun part to the week is the 20 minute passing periods, opposed to the regular 5 minutes, 20 is amazing! And the over all best part is the off campus lunch. We never get off campus lunch except for finals and if we reach our goal in the canned food drive every winter.

So..what did i do with my extra time? Study for the next class, listen to my music, or even do the forbidden texting...heck no! I crocheted =D

So now I get to take them down to the store and sell 'em. They are all valentines colors. YAY!

Now what can I do for the rest of the weekend...they gave us Friday and Monday off? More V-day crafting sounds good!

And maybe some soldering...yeah that's rights, I got the soldering kit I wanted for Christmas! Thank you Taylor =D I haven't quite perfected the technique, but I'm on my way.

This in one of the shelves of the cabinet. The doily is made by my Grandma's Aunt.. She gave me a set of them last time i visited her. The tin is out of a garbage pile, and the metal heart is made by My Cutie Pie, Taylor <3

I made 2 of these this past weekend. They turned out really way cute. If you cannot read the words, it says vintage. They were special order ( i love using that term =D) for an old teacher of mine. She is a seller of CAbi. A clothing line where the logo is a real cute dress form. She has been giving them and gifts, and says they all love them alot.

I recently got this idea from my boyfriend's mama My Grandkids Rock. She made her mother in law one out of her husband's jeans, and I thought I should make one outta Taylor's. I finished it Friday but had to wait to get it to the laundromat until today, you should have seen all the lent that came off!!! It was like blue snow! It took a couple pairs of his jeans, 3 yards of flannel, and some scissors! It was alot of fun but it is so much more fun snugglin underneath it right now. When i started the project we (Taylor and I) thought Ishould have the flannel a little bit of him and me, well thats hard, and when we saw the pink camo he agreed that I should have it.

So i purchased it and brought it home, well I cut it the wrong size, go figure BY A HALF AN INCH whatever, so Thursday we made it into town again and I had to get all pink, because they were out of the camo now =C

Friday I finished up the sewing and the snipping, that took 3 hours, but hey I managed to get only one blister.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, but I really wanted to post and i didn't wanna go get the camera...so I used my phone ha ha.

Anyway school starts tomorrow and I really think I have some homework but I cant think of what it is, so I better go triple check. Have a great week.

Baby it's Cold Outside

We have had a boat load of snow the past few days, and we are finally on Christmas break! We are finally in the very few hours before Christmas and I just cant wait. Work has made the time go by way faster, and because our locals cant get into the malls around us they have been swamping the local businesses, good for us! Even after four plus inches today we had a constant flow.
Tonight my family and I went driving around to look at all the snow, everything was so pretty, there was a small part of town that was out of power, all the houses were dark except for the church, it was amazing!

15 Days

I love everything about Christmas food, lights, food, red&green, food, the music, ohhh and food! This weekend i am going to a Christmas cookie exchange. I am sooo excited. I havent decided what cookies i will make but my mama and i are doing different cookies so i can come home with my own plate =D haha I LOOOVEE Cookies. I am looking for a recipe that is kinda "pink and sparkly."

A couple days ago i was asked to write a christmas list. It is really hard because i know what i want but not at that moment it is like evrything empties out of my head. The top few things on my list were Of course i am going to have to have one of these...and all the things that go along. I have a big want to make these my style and learn something new.

And because i am a teenager...and i just bought a new laptop I will need one of these...it is way too cute with the pink!Of course i want some new clothes but the number one thing on my List is:

I know it is just a couple days that we arent together ( he goes 5 hours away with his family) but it is such a fun day i wanna spend it with him. Not only that he is gone but his whole family is gone. They always make that "silver lining" even if everything is perfect, they make it better! They are all soooooo nice. I was real happy this year that we got to spend most of thanksgiving together.

We both obviously had too much turkey becasue this was taken about 4pm =D

This last weekend my cousin Kizzy, who is Tanner's Mommy on my blog roll, gathered up all our things and went to a little town a few minutes from us and had a booth in a craft bazaar. The bazaar was in the gym of the school. We lucked out and got the spot with the red and a bit of green on the floor, we kinda lucked out huh? Half way through the day i saw 2 familiar faces coming through the door. It was nice to see Shiela and Joy. It was fun visiting with them until i started getting threats about not posting, so i thought i better get back into the groove of things =D Here is an all over picture of the booth

These cute stockings are made out of an old chenille bed spread we found 2 nights before the sale at a cute Antique and Junque Shop a couple minutes from us! The shop name is JJ's and on the sign, antique and junque are spelled this way...cute huh? We found the bed spread for... 3$!!

The sale was very successful and loads of fun. Kizzy and I are trying out the partner thing. It makes the sales so much easier and alot more fun! We even made our own blog so we can start posting about where we will be at and other fun stuff. We will be posting alot more, but until we do here is the name and blog for those of you who wanna keep tabs =D

Over a month?? i didn't think i could go that long without blogging. Between school, work and crafting i have managed to keep busy. This week is one of the most exciting weeks of school. Its homecoming week. The picture above is the ticket design i created for this years dance. On Saturday girls played powder puff and us (juniors) turned out in 2nd place! yay! The day turned out really cool and i even got a battle wound =D Another girl and I collided going after the same thing. She ended up more hurt than I. today was male volleyball and us (juniors) won 1st place! tomorrow is Staff vs. Male volleyball. I have a feeling we will come out on top again. Thursday night is the game and Friday is the dance i am sure i will have many many many cute pictures up very soon! come back and check it out....

Look familiar? Way too familiar for me. Tomorrow is the beginning of school, not for me just the freshman. But luckily i was chosen to be a link leader ( so really i will be there), a freshman initiation type of leader. We take the freshman around our school, play games, and give them a boost into high school. Me and my best friend are team leaders together. We have decided to make our group dress up as construction workers. Our first option was fairy princesses, but after finding out we had a couple boys in our group we had to accommodate. I hope tomorrow is a success and my group of freshman get even more excited for high school!

This year is going to be different for me, i finally get to drive, my older sister is out of school, and my little sister is coming into high school. And my favorite part of the whole deal is my new backpack. Actually it is a purse, a very large purse, that is cheetah print! To add to the excitement i got some cute cowgirl note books, and i made a really awesome lunch for tomorrow =D

A couple weeks ago my best friend turned 16! She also went and got her license on the same day. First thing she drove over and we just sat and talked and she had the biggest smile on her face it was so funny. For her birthday I made her a cute box to carry her embroidery stuff around in. She jokes she will use it for lunch. The inspiration for the box is from Antie Joy. I saw her wonderful creation at the silverton sale, and had to make a couple for my self. Surprise!

Today was pretty busy. I started off by finishing my mama's surprise birthday present. Her birthday is tomorrow (Sunday), i really wish i could show you all pictures of the completion, but we will have to wait.

To put my surprises in rewind, yesterday i found some lamp shades, i was so excited "surprised" because i have been wanting a lamp shade for a chandelier, and to put on a small old lamp(when i find one). Well i found two. So today i decided to make one into a chandelier. I finished it, brought it into my sister's room, and hung it. She was so surprised =D.

Today we all took a family trip to the auto art store??? Yup! My mama got some really cute things that i am sure she will be posting soon, my dad got some auto art, and i got some bling my self =D

Just a couple weeks ago, my dad surprised me with a new car (score!)

I hadn't had a "crafters brain" for a couple days. But...i put an end to it! The other night i was cleaning out my crafting cupboard and found some of the flat marbles. They reminded me of when i made some magnets with them and some family pictures. I also found some old magazines ( are ya catching it??) This was the result...

Last week i received this in the mail. I thought it was just another package, but to my surprise it wasn't...it was all for me! I won the giveaway over at Charming Designs. Lucky me, it matches in my room =D

I haven't been working on much, except for a surprise present for my mama's birthday(pictures will be up after the 17th), a bridal shower gift, and some stitcheries for a friend.

Long time no post...

It has been awhile since the last post, not much going on but enough to keep me busy. The sale on Saturday went great, and...I just found out i won a giveaway from Laurie over at Charming Designs! I am so excited it is going to match perfectly in my room. Here are some of the things i had in my sale...

It seemed much more like a sidewalk booth, rather than a booth. It was a bit of a surprise, but it all turned out great in the end.

This table was the good luck, just about everything that was set here sold within a few minutes, i wish i could have set everything on there!

Signs, Signs, and more SIGNS!!

As the main seller of all my sales i had to once again make alot more signs! I can never run out of sayings to fill up my frames, no matter what category. I just started make these little cuties when a friend asked me to make some for some relatives. They were alot of fun so i made some more and started selling them, now i can never catch up! Here are a couple that will be in my upcoming sale on Saturday...

Also my carrots are finally turning orange....YAY!!! This was the first one to come up, and later today i pulled up two others. The Green Beans also have been producing a ton! My lettuce just got coming up 2 weeks ago, and today we were able to make a salad, all i have left is my tomatoes to ripen =D

Hearts and Stars and Jars!

Lately i have become obsessed with hearts and stars...they every where! My little cinnamon stars/hearts, and my stuffed coffee stained muslin hearts/stars have found their way into almost every project lately...

I used fresh farm eggs, some rafia, and my cin. stars/hearts (cute huh?)

The other night Taylor and I went on our first date <3. We were on the phone sunday night and realized we havent ever gone on a date, just us two. So he took me to the grocery store monday night, grabbed some food, and we took our dinner to the river near by and had dinner..it was so much. It still makes us laugh, almost a year together and we never even thought about going on a date!

I was trying to be real creative by searching for a quote to tie harts and stars together, and couldn't find the perfect one but found these that i really liked!

Another Sale?!

Less than two weeks and i am back at it again! The other night after dropping off some more hand mades at Jen. Kri. i was asked to take up some space at the Santiam Summerfest. The owner of the store gets a space in front of the store and and the sidewalk, and i get to fill it up! The summerfest takes place along one of the streets in down town Stayton. There is alot of things going on that day: some arts and crafts booths, food vendors, quilt show and auction, dog show, car show, basketball tourneys, and music. Its going to be a busy day =D

This apron is made out of a vintage pillowcase, and has a very flattering shape when put on, i made it for my mama (of course) =D she can never have enough aprons!

This little lady is a black apple doll, i watched a tutorial on martha stweart online, and love how cute they are! I didnt know what to do with her, and for some reason she reminded me of my sister (maybe its the smallness) =D so when she got home from work yesterday i ran and strapped it in the passenger seat in her car. She didnt think it was too funny, but left her strapped in =D

Now that the sale is done i haven't had much to do, or even felt crafty at all =C The other day i did however stay home from goodwilling (how stupid) and i cleaned up everything that i made a mess with, including my room, and added another touch of girliness to it.

I got the idea out of a magazinge, i went and got some toulle and woohoo its done! I love it, but there is one thing wrong, it doesnt match my cheetah sheets or my cute pillows i have, i guess i'll have to put together some new pillows, decorations, and maybe even a quilt for my bed! Have any quilt ideas??

Also after being at the sale i have a new want to make aprons...weird i know but i dont have any cute patterns, or ideas, want to share? =D

Friday was the "big" sale. I now can say I"M DONE!! It was so much fun, i loved preping for it, being there, meeting new people, and closing down =D. I cannot wait for my next opportunity to be apart of such an amazing event. I even got to talk to a couple other vendors who put together some sales and I have a chance of being a part of them!!!
My mama is addicted to her camera and takes a picture of any and every movement that happens

I am now just 2 days away from my FIRST sale! (WOW!!!!) I am feeling very rushed, but very accomplished i am seeing my pile over take our downs stairs and i feel very proud of it =D I would love to show some pictures but my camera is on a weird setting and i cant fix it =C. Tonight i finished up some towels, with lace, pillow cases with lace, and recipe cards with lace(can you tell i like lace??!!??) along with that i finished some pillows, and very cute tray, and a loggers lunch box, i made one for myself and use it to hold a fraction of my makeup. I will try to get pictures up tomorrow... For now i want to thank you for all of the ideas for the Prince A can. Tonight i looked up at the calendar and realized it was almost the 9th. That is a very special date for me <3.>

Recently i found an old Prince Albert in a Can, i would to put it in my sale (On Friday!!!!)but i have no idea what to put in it, and i REALLY dont want to leave it plain, i have been told "put flowers in it" and i am not really wanting to do flowers...I know its kinda picky...Do any of you have any wonderful ideas?? My can is a bit more rusty, but i love that! Thank you for the help... =D

Today was a really productive day, i got alot sewn up, priced, and painted! I was feeling really good until i looked at my To-Do list and realized i had one more week to be ready...then i was in panic more, i did however manage to get some pictures taken while i was panicking ! I ran out of tags, which i guess is a good sign so i made quite a bit more and some bigger cards just in case i would need them for anything...

This is before i stamp them and attach them to my treasures!This i finished last night...about 10ish or so, i couldnt wait til morning =D. The wall word part is some of my giveaway. I had some troubles with it but it turned out cute in the end!

And here's a sneak peak at one item getting worked that will be in my sale. The are clothes pin magnets, some will be displayed in jars, aprons, and on magnet boards made out of vintage platters. This is all for now, i have to go paint some more =D

Finally Home!

Its been a long week, and its over. It felt soooo good to be home and see everyone and be back to "normal." I did manage to get in some crafting but the highlight of the trip was Sunday getting ready to leave we stopped by Barnyard Antiques in Klamath. It was AMAZING! It was my first time to every lay eyes on the feast of antiques. I practicaly jumped out of the car and couldn't stop looking at anything! I look through the outside deck and the the inside. I decided to only spend a couple dollars so i chose a enamelware cup and an old cheese cutter with a wooden red hanldle. When i went up to pay the nicest, cutest lady gave it to me for free insisting i needed it more than her =D oh ya! i was stoked. So i went to put my new treasures in the pickup and came back, and......... she had a big ol' box of antiques she had gathered up, and told me i had to take it becasue she swore to her husband that she would have the placed cleared out in 5 years. OF COURSE I HAD TO TAKE IT! I will be selling these at the fourth of july sale...only a couple more days. I am debating whether or not to keep the things, i think i might as well keep some =D Anyways to give you a taste, of course a pun intended, of where i was the past week, i'll show off some pictures.

This is the Bread Wagon. My boyfriends Aunt owns it and asked me to help for a week while she was serving 80 people for Fire Camp. This is the first night's dinner. I wish i would have taken a picture of the menu board every meal just to brag to you all!

This was just the start of the yummy food, we had tacos, tri tip, french toast, ham and eggs, and much much more!To top it all off we had a gorgous view... Here are some littler projects i finished a couple weeks ago. These all went the Boy Bathroom/ Laundry Room..

I know its not until tomorrow but i'm leaving for a week and i would like to show some of the things i have made for my dad, and to sell. First of all my Dad got these along time ago, so for his Dad's Day gift he got a homemade oreo ice cream cake =D He's just finishing up a bowl! So just to show off some more here's a blanket i crocheted him...

Because he is a marine (once a marine, always a marine) i had to do something patriotic. I havent put on the stars yet, i'm trying to think of something really creative that doesn't involve ALL 50! He requested something that went way up over his head and covered his feet, so he doesn't have to stretch it out, sooo... it turned out about 6 1/2 feet by 5ish-feet. I haven't measured it, i guess i'm too lazy.

He also got a sign kinda like this for his birthday a couple months ago. I brought some of these signs over to Jenzten Kritzer the other day and she loved them so much she put them up by the register! This is a big step up =D I have made quite a few of these signs and each time it makes me realize how lucky i am to have my Daddy.

Too add some more i decided what to do with the fabric, i'm not gonna tell because i want it to be a surprise. Also come to the fourth of July sale In Silverton, i just got signed up for my first booth!! This is where i'll showcase my new creations. I have a busy couple weeks ahead of me!

Yard Sale!

It is officially summer, this morning was the first morning of no school, what is there to do? Yard Sale! Down the street from me there was a very big sale going on so my sister and i woke up early just to be first to look around. We were 9 minutes late and the place was covered! I managed to find some really neat treasures. This whole box of fabric for..........1$!!!!!!! they are the cutest patterns, kinda vintage-y and of course some frames =D

I'm think of making some cute table runners to sell, or maybe even some aprons???

Also i need some help getting involved with Blackberry Junction, if you know any information it would help alot! I really want to have some of my things in the show, or maybe to partner up with somebody?? Thank you alot!

End of The School Year!

Finally we're almost there. I am ending the school year great, i have gotten loads of embroidery done, a lot of sewing, and some crocheting! All to make a really cute basket to give as a teacher gift, she loved it by the way =D Besides the important stuff my grades are all turning out good, and my baby sister just graduated middle school. All this wrapped into a week! My garden is also starting to produce...finally!

Besides crafting another one of my loves...well dreams is to be a beautician. I love everything about hair and nails and makeup! For awhile i have been wanting to make a "beauty station" especially after seeing how cute my boy friend's sister, Mindy, decorates her station at work. This last weekend i went and picked up an old desk from my boyfriend's other sister. The desk took a couple of coats but it was alot fo fun to paint =D

Tonight i got to bring it into my room, which caused a whole rearranging my room. A new piece of furniture always does! This is what it turned out to look like...The BE-A-U-TI-FUL glass knobe fit perfectly! They seem very vintage and I LOVE IT!! I have found the glass-less frames at a sale a couple weeks ago. The lamp is my V-Day present from my boyfriend. Surprisingly i only have two pigs showing. I have a pig obsession =D I just got the 2-tiered wire thingy from my mama who was about to throw it out. I'm glad i didnt it look adorable with the doily, hanky, perfume bottle combo. The "love" sign was made by who other than Taylor, my boyfriend! Who knew flower frogs were soooo much fun. I have grown to have aliking to them. This one hold my birhday cards and pictures. Here are some close ups~

awhile ago is my laundry basket! I got tired of hauling down 100 lbs of clothes to my laundry room every week so now i push it down =D

Happy Graduation!

My Big Sis graduated! Not much is gonna change: She's still gonna be home in the morning to steal my starightening iron, be home at night to fight about chores, and still be there to just be an older sister. When she woke up Saturday morning my grama said wow Heather you look taller, being a common joke we all laughed but her she took it seriously...so like usual we had to measure. She finally hit 5 feet. (personally i think it was the bed hair!) On the way to the Armory we were all joking around like little kids ( like usual) but after graduation she seemed older, it was weird. So maybe you do get bigger, taller in her case, as you get older. That was definetly a bonus for her.Friday night she graduated and Saturday we celebrated. Of course we had to decorate cute =D. As for the rest of the weekend i got to lay around and as my "weekend project" i decided to start on my Beauty Station. I will try to post pictures tommorow. But i'll probably have too much fun putting it all together after school to get on the computer. Hope to hear from you all soon!

I am the type of person who likes to see instant results, or really fast progress...I'm not getting either one of these with my latest project. This year i was allowed to occupy three graden boxes in my back yard. My mama abandoned them after finding a snake that decided to home itself in the boxes. This garden started out as an experiment but has now turn into a fascination. I want to plant anything and everything! The boxes were in really bad shape to start out with so i made a plan to clean one garden box out a day and plant one plant in it. My first was STRAWBERRIES!!!Not being very satisfied it soon turned into carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, primroses, alyssum, some herbs, and soon to be watermelons!I planted my carrots, lettuce and beans from seed and wowzers they are taking forever. I have sprouts but that just isnt enough =D I am planning to make a salad, and some strawberry short cake when all these come up...Yummy! Have any good recipes? For now while i am waiting for these plants to produce, I have been making little wooden signs to label just about everything in my garden boxes. They are very cute, but not very time consuming so if there are any fun new projects, send them my way =D

Tonight...Ahh...so much fun! I got to finish alot of work and with a little help too!This little girls's name is Kenzi...she was my little shadow for the night, she helped me wind yarn balls, eat dinner and dress my new mennequin =D Today my mom found it at a garage sale for 1$! For awhile now i have been collecting fun jewelry ( fake pearls, dangly earrings, and cute bracelets) I finally get to display them! Yay! I started out trying to make a strippy little tutu, but decided the side ribbon with tulle was way too cute! Earlier in the day i got some time (before laying in the sun) to finish up some dishcloths, that are almost ready to be sent, and some cute embroidered sampler signs, almost ready to be delivered. I sell these out at an adorable shop called Gap Road. I also have a few at a craft shop called Jentzen Krietzer. Check Them Out !!I'm hoping to find more places to sell, or my home will covered with them (crafting is most definetly an addiction.) Wel i'm off to make some more dishcloths =D

My First Post!

Tay Tay & Me! This is on my 16th Birthday...just a couple weeks ago. For that SPECIAL day i got a sewing machine (yay!) from my parents. And from this great guy i got a pink hair straightener, and alot of other cute GiRl StUfF =D. He Definetly made it the best Bday ever! Besides the awesome gifts i received, i had the chance to spend the rest of the weekend with his family. I had the best time with them. We went yard saling and worked in the yard. At one the garage sales ( the creepiest one ) i found an old mannequin. When she gets done airing out i'll have to dress her up =D. Besides spending time with Him i love to craft. One of my most favorite projects I have knitted/crocheted is the blanket for my aunt. I am proud to say it took me 17 days and looks beautiful!
