Sorry for the bad picture quality... This is my best friend...Duke. He has been part of the family for just about 7 years. He is the nicest, cutest pup. And has a huge personality, and his a big attitude. A week ago he hurt himself and didn't get better, and yesterday hurt himself more. This morning he was put down and is now not in pain. I'm in school now ( shame on me for blogging ) but he is worth the attention. But it is going to be weird going home today and not have him be at the door jumping around and waiting to be fed. Nest Monday would be his 7th birthday, but this birthday he will have alot more fun chasing a million mail men, garbage trucks, and now he is off his diet =D

Brandi, Sorry about Duke. I can picture him hanging out with Moose. Jay probably is throwing a stick for them, don't ya think? Casey and I went to Ethan's house last night. He has 12-13 (I forgot) black lab and chocolate lab puppies. They are only a couple weeks old and they are super cute. I wanted to bring them all home. If you want to go see them I can have Casey call him. Tata for now, Pam

This pain is so hard but yet will subside. I never thought I could feel pain or hurt over the lose of a dog, but he was like my 4th child. He was so spoiled, I miss everything about him. I wish I had a magic switch and could bring him back to all of us.
We'll get through this together and someday get another dog, but not any time soon. Im not ready to replace him :(

Oh hon, I am so sorry about your doggie... he was very handsome. You are right... no more pain where he is... just a big meadow to run and play and be with all those that have gone before him.

Awwww....I'm soooo sooo sorry.....I'm about to tears.....It reminds me of my cat, Mable. We had to put her to sleep, too(she's Matty and Bambi's mama). I think you should get another dog. My dog, Liberty, got hit.....having the cats inside helped me.

I'm sorry to hear about Duke. Moose will know have another k9 to keep him company. Dogs are a mans best friends!
